Working for one of the largest independent Lift business’ in the UK, providing a whole host of vertical transport solutions to construction and end users.
The departments focus on Architects, Engineers, Construction Companies, and developers to provide solutions for their projects.
The Design Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the design process within the Company; from builders work drawings, refining and finalising design proposals, ensuring they meet customer requirements and agreed budgets.
Providing a full working knowledge of complex builders work design management. From initial designs through to checking manufacturer drawings for final approval.
Experience Required
- HNC Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- MS Office – Excel, Outlook, Word
- AutoCAD or DraftSight, 3DModelling
- Full understanding of mechanical lift design
- Full understanding of Lift regulations and standards
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) – Professional Card
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
