We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Deputy Branch Manager to assist the Branch Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our North branch.
The successful candidate will assist the Branch Manager with profit and loss (P&L) management, team leadership and ensuring the highest levels of service delivery. The role requires a deep understanding of the UK lift industry and a strong track record of operational success.
Responsibilities
- P&L Management: Assist the Branch Manager to drive the financial success of the branch by managing budgets, ensuring profitability and capitalising on commercial opportunities.
- Deputise for Branch Manager: In the absence of the Branch Manager, you will be expected to step up and lead the wider team, ensuring continuity of service excellence.
- Target Management: Assist the Branch Manager to drive the financial success of the branch by hitting set financial and productivity targets, ensuring service delivery profitability and excellence.
- Operational excellence: Oversee service delivery, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently to meet the needs of both the customer and the business.
- People Leadership: Manage and lead a multifunctional team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability and excellent customer service.
- Business Growth: Identify and seize business opportunities that align with the company’s commercial goals.
Role requirements
- Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of the UK lift industry with operational delivery experience at a senior level.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to manage branch performance, driving profitability and growth through strategic decision making.
- Leadership: Demonstrable experience in managing and motivating teams within a fast-paced and complex operations environment.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and lead teams effectively.
- IT Proficiency: Proficient in use of CRM systems and other IT tools essential for branch management.
