Located on Woolwich Common, Queen Elizabeth Hospital falls under the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, serving patients from the boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley. The hospital is a 24-hour facility with accompanying emergency department.
Here at Sheridan Lifts, we are well versed in providing lift maintenance and installation services for the healthcare industry, including hospitals, surgeries and treatment centres. Indeed, we have carried out many projects of this nature throughout 2018 with further projects planned into 2019, including the installation of high tech dumbwaiters for The Doctors Laboratory on Whitfield Street as well as a project at Northampton General Hospital where we are installing 2 bed lifts on behalf of Interserve, compliant to H2M-08-02 regulations.
Here at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Sheridan Lifts were employed by Vinci Construction to fit a BS 9999 HGM compliant, 33-person evacuation traction bed lift that serves two stops.
As part of the project we have also been appointed to carry out the wrap around architraves around the lift entrances. The chosen lift for this job is a brand-new installation that we have sourced from Kleemann Lifts.
The total cost of this project is in the range of £50,000 – £100,000 and this business-critical lift will be handed over to the hospital before Christmas.
If you have a business need for a new lift installation, repairs to an existing lift or are looking to appoint a reliable company to manage your lift maintenance, do bear us in mind, we are a family run business with over 40 years of experience in the industry.
