So, after a brilliant week last week where we reported on our brand-new business operation in Dubai as well as being featured on BBC One’s DIY SOS, its back to business as usual here with one of our busy Mondays.
We thought it’d been a while since we had a little round up of a few selected projects for your interest so here we go!
Firstly, and continuing our prolific work in the education centre and local to us here in Manchester is our project at Bury College where we are installing a 10-person passenger lift within the Woodbury Centre which forms part of the Prospects Building. This exciting new addition forms part of a £7 million campus-wide investment taken on by the college.
You can see more of our projects in the education sector here:
We’re also working at Oxford House in Bethnal Green, London. Here, we are installing a six person traction lift at this popular community arthouse venue which has recently reopened with its new café and fully restored 19th century chapel.
And now onto the healthcare sector where we possibly have an even more diverse portfolio of jobs both completed, live and in the pipeline.
Remember when we told you about our automated service lifts for the Doctor’s Laboratory on Whitfield Street in Fitzrovia? Well, we are now on site there in London installing a passenger lift.
Also in the healthcare sector, as we initially reported in January on our blog we are now on site installing an 8 person traction life at Saffron Health Centre in Leicester whilst at Briar Dene Care Home we are just waiting for some building works to be completed prior to our lift installation re-commencing there.
As you may or may not know, fitting new lifts can be an extremely complex and time-consuming process, and soon we’ll give you a deeper insight into just this as we will sit down with Jeremy Walton from Sheridan Lifts who will talk about some of the more technical aspects of his role.
Stay tuned for that and more from Sheridan Lifts, your favourite UK lift company!
