Here at Sheridan Lifts we have been busy bunnies again, not just in the world of in the world of lift servicing but also in our role as a responsible business helping in the community.
Last week week we popped down to the Lalley Centre in Collyhurst and dropped off 50 advent calendars following an appeal from Manchester City Council and the centre themselves.
Our Key Account Manager Lewis Gordon, who drives many of our social interaction charitable pursuits told us:
“The Lalley Centre have been absolutely fantastic in supporting some of our most vulnerable residents during Covid and are continuing as a food bank. When we saw their online appeal, we really wanted to help.
“We managed to source the calendars and here are some of our lovely staff modelling them, before we dropped them off last Thursday.
“It’s been a pretty awful year, and for many people it has made their difficult own situations markedly worse,so hopefully these advent calendars can bring some smiles to the children who will receive them”.
The Lalley Centre offers a range of support services out of the Salford Diocese, operating out of St Malachy’s RC Primary School and utilising some truly brilliant volunteers. We are delighted to be able to help them.
To thank us for our delivery, the Lalley Centre produced this lovely certificate for us which now takes pride of place on the wall here at Sheridan HQ!
