Meet the team…….Nick Beetson.
As part of our meet the team series, we took the time to interview Nick Beetson, who is celebrating his first anniversary in the job role of New Lift Sales Consultant, having joined the business in February 2012.
Nick is a father of one, with the pitter-patter of tiny feet set to echo through the Beetson household with the arrival of his second child due in May 2013.
Nick joined the company having previously being employed in a customer facing and telephone based account management role. He was attracted to the position by being handed the opportunity to gain new skills in a technical discipline and to become an expert in a fast moving and high paced environment.
When asked about what excites him about his current role he highlighted the fact that new challenges present themselves on a daily basis – helping him to not only develop his skills and knowledge but to thrive on providing a service that is important for our clients.
“With land and space being at a premium in the UK at the moment, with the growing population, new lift installation sector is a buoyant sector as customers look to build vertically. We are finding a growing trend for lifts being installed into private properties, and here at Sheridan Lifts, we are able to offer a product that is not only cost effective, but will help prevent the need for down-sizing and will add value to the property.”
Nick is responsible for sales within the North West region for all lift installation products including passenger lifts, platform lifts, home lifts and goods lifts, and has highlighted the ‘can-do’ attitude of the Sheridan Lifts team as one of the many factors behind his success.
Sheridan Lifts are a rapidly expanding, independently owned, family business which enables our colleagues such as Nick to gain a large amount of experience of all types of situations, with regular time spent working with industry professionals and the directors of the business.
