Sheridan Lifts also provide self-bearing metal lift structures made from bent sheet metal standards. Usually, these would need to be welded which requires a hot work permit. This can take time and require you to meet a range of criteria and can be a bit of a managerial headache. However, our self-bearing lift structures are assembled and fixed using high strength bolts which negates the use of welding and thus hot work permits.
To ensure longevity all of our self-bearing lift structures are painted with rust-proofing paint and include buffering on all sides with approved sandwiched glass.
