It’s been a superb month here at Sheridan Lifts where we are growing rapidly as a business and taking on new staff to help us with our journey. With new lift installations, new lift service and maintenance contracts and a host of lift modernisations and refurbishments there’s no chance of us resting on our laurels as we approach the month of March.
Our work in the education sector is becoming more and more prominent and we have a new lift maintenance contact to tell you about today. Ashton on Mersey School in Sale, Greater Manchester is the founding school of the Dean Trust and lends home to 1500 pupils including a renowned sixth form for academic excellence.
It also happens to be the school where current Manchester United players Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard attended, honing their talent for a career in top flight Premier League and international football. Hardly surprising then that the school continues to be one of the most popular, successful and over subscribed schools in the Trafford area.
So how did Sheridan Lifts get involved?
Following a repair of a major component on one of their sports centre lifts and proving our worth regarding efficiency and timings, we were then instructed to prepare a service contract for a total of six lifts on the school site.
As a business we pride ourselves on the quality of our work and we were delighted to respond to the school’s needs and look forward to a fruitful working partnership with them in the future.
As an interesting little aside, the headteacher at Ashton on Mersey School is Andrew Shakos, who used to teach mathematics to our very own Lift Service Sales Manager, Chris Grailey. The pair bumped into each other during the site visit and enjoyed a good little catch up.
It’s a small world!
