Sheridan Lifts will soon be on site at a brand-new leisure complex located in Emerson’s Green in Bristol, where works are currently underway on a 2.3 hectare site with an approximate opening date of December 2019.
Here, we have been appointed to install a two-stop traction lift by our client Pelikaan Construction.
The 100th David Lloyd Leisure Club in the UK will also be the third in the Bristol vicinity, creating 80 new jobs in the process and providing a first-class collection of leisure and lifestyle facilities synonymous with the brand.
New members will benefit from a sparkling new 100 + station gymnasium, with four group exercise studios, a superb indoor cycling studio, high impact studios for mind and body and an all new Blaze boutique style studio. This innovate class is designed to burn up to 1000 calories with a 55-minute time frame. Sounds like hard work to us, but rewarding we imagine!

The leisure centre will also feature a 20m indoor pool and 25m outdoor heated pool offering aqua aerobics, family and adult swim sessions as well as a quiet adult swim session. Families and kids will appreciate the indoor learner pool and outdoor kids pool.
Racquet sports enthusiasts are catered for via three air bubble courts plus an indoor show court offering year-round tennis facilities for members.

The lift is being delivered next week and therefore Sheridan Lifts will be on site soon commencing lift installation works.
