Sheridan Lifts Limited have recently celebrated reaching 40 years in the lift industry and we pride ourselves on still being independently owned and operated.

Our offices are based just outside Manchester city centre which provides an easy commute from the majority of main motorways that link the North West.
We provide range of services including lift installation, refurbishment, minor repairs, call outs & servicing.
You will be working with a team of engineers many who have served their apprentice through the business and you will receive the upmost support to carry out your duties by a technical team and service department.
If working on the tools, you will benefit from a fully expensed company van, mobile telephone (PDA), fuel card and trade point card. These positions also come with a 20 day holiday package per annum which is increased by 1 day per annum capped at 23 days.

*Lift Service & Call Out Engineer
The ideal candidate will be based in the North West within reasonable commute of our Manchester offices. This role will be required to carry out service and call outs on a variety of lifts including but not limited to the following manufacturers; Kleemann (inc LiSa 20 & U controller), Otis, Kone, Schindler, Wadsworth, DMG, and many more.
The role will predominantly be covering the M60 & M62 corridor however further afield where necessary.
This role covers a standard 40 hour week however there will be many opportunities to work overtime which will vary depending on workload.
*Lift Technician
The Ideal candidate will already hold or be close to an NVQ 4 Qualified Lift Technician and will cover Lift Technical Repairs and Testing within the North West & Yorkshire area. This role reports directly to the Technical Director and offers an attractive remuneration package and excellent career progression for the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate for this position is a Senior Engineer with a background in Lift testing and technical repairs residing within at least 70 miles of the Manchester offices.
This role will be predominantly attending problematic lifts where senior engineers have failed to provide a solution to a fault, therefore complete thorough industry knowledge on a variety of OEMs is essential.
This role covers a standard 40 hour week however there will be many opportunities to work overtime which will vary depending on workload.
