As February draws to a close, we thought you might like to hear about some of the diverse jobs we’ve been working on this year.
So lets round up three here for good measure. Starting with our working with Rise Contracts Ltd, Sheridan Lifts have installed a business critical, two stop, two entrance chain and sprocket electric goods lift for Butchers Hall, London EC1A.
This traditional livery hall has a long and impressive history with direct links to the Crown going as far back as the 12th century. Granted a Royal Charter of Incorporation by King James 1 in 1605, occupiers the Worshipful Company of Butchers have been the significant power behind the trade in the City of London and around Smithfield for over a thousand years.
As well as its main function, The Butchers Hall is a hugely popular and versatile events space for functions including weddings and christenings where guests have the use of a stunning roof garden.
Switching from an industrial goods lift to a residential passenger lift, Sheridan Lifts have been onsite at Durham Gate North, an exciting new development serving the people of the North East.
Here we’ve installed an 8-person electro traction lift as well as a platform lift at this mixed-use site where you’ll find a bespoke collection of office and retail space, industrial units, creche and gym units at this out of town location.
And finally, for the purposes of this article, anyway!
We have installed a 26-person electro-traction lift for Smurfit Kappa who are Europe’s largest corrugated packaging company and one of the leading paper-based packaging companies in the world.
Here, they identified a new for a new goods lift at their cardboard factory in Stalybridge, so we went in and removed their old lift and replaced it with a brand new, 3 stop lift.
If you are in need of a new lift or concerned about the condition of your existing lift, we are the people to call, so don’t hesitate to get in touch!
