I’ve just had confirmation from our Service Director Chris Chadwick that we have secured a 350 unit lift service contract for Mosscare St Vincent’s Housing Group, who own properties across Greater Manchester and the North West. Great news!
Mosscare describe themselves as a community based landlord, working to create thriving neighbourhoods and providing employment and educational opportunities, so we are delighted to be able to support them through this contract agreement.
The work will be divided between 315 domestic lifts and 35 passenger lifts within units owned by the client. Serviced units will include affordable housing and homes for the over 55’s and those of restricted mobility.
The contract sits alongside similar ones we carry out for One Manchester Housing Association, Manchester City Council and Rochdale Borough Council.
Commenting on the contract win, Chris said
“From the moment this tender was published at the back end of 2019, I was really keen to get it over the line, and add to existing portfolio. I am delighted that our company has been chosen over some of the larger multi national businesses.
This really just goes to show our strength in depth and shows that independent companies like ourselves continue to be chosen for our integrity, skill and industry reputation”.
Sheridan Lifts were chosen following a three stage tender process which began in December 2019 and we now look forward to beginning our work here next month.
Chris also let me in on a few more jobs that are on the horizon so hopefully I will be back soon reporting on those ones, too.
It’s always lovely to end a really productive week with some serious positivity so I’m delighted to be leaving you to enjoy your weekend, lets hope for some more sun!
